UHS Pediatric Out Patient Dialysis

The conversion of the 5th Floor In- Patient Adult Dialysis to an Out-Patient Pediatric Dialysis Clinic. By converting the project to an Out-Patient Dialysis Clinic, the Project had to comply with the State's End State Renal Dialysis regulations, as well as, the Hospital's owner regulations.
Operating Room Recovery Rooms
COST: $740,000
Existing, under-utilized storage space was converted into an area for patients who needed monitoring after procedures in the nearby Operating Rooms. All medical equipment and gasses needed to be routed into the room and nurses stations constructed.
Pediatric Beds 11th Floor
COST: $1,394,000
Conversion of one wing of the 11th floor in the 1968 Tower (Rio Tower). Out-dated Patient Bedrooms, that were being used as temporary office space, were renovated to be used as a Pediatric Patient area complete with new medical gas,electrical upgrades, 1 isolation room, and 2 ADA accessible suites.
MRI Relocation
COST: $5,200,000
Relocation of two MRIs and their associated control rooms and equipment rooms. Renovation and movement of existing office, reception, waiting, patient dressing, patient toilet, patient holding, soiled/clean rooms, staff facilities, and reading rooms were also required. Hospital remained operational through-out construction.
